Holld Yachts is carving out a distinctive position in the luxury sailing market, where long-range capability, advanced composite construction and superyacht sensibility are expected to coexist without compromise. Its HOLLD 74, now progressing steadily toward completion, captures that ambition in full. Conceived as an all-carbon sailing catamaran for owners who want to cruise comfortably and with purpose, the 74 is designed not simply to impress on the dock, but to perform with quiet assurance at sea.

A clear philosophy

At the heart of the project is a clear philosophy. The HOLLD 74 is intended for long-range family cruising, yet it avoids the visual and technical excess that can weigh down yachts in this category. Instead, the emphasis is on fast, composed sailing with a minimal crew, supported by systems engineered to be dependable, intuitive and unobtrusive. Performance, stability and onboard comfort are treated as complementary rather than competing priorities, giving the yacht an appeal that feels both contemporary and enduring.

Built from the carbon up

Construction is central to that story. The HOLLD 74 is being built using a one-shot carbon fibre and epoxy resin infusion process, with hand lamination reportedly limited to less than one percent. That approach points to a serious commitment to structural consistency, weight efficiency and strength. In practical terms, it should deliver the rigidity required for offshore sailing and the lightness needed to enhance both performance and efficiency. For buyers increasingly attentive to build quality beneath the surface gloss, that is a meaningful differentiator.

A Dutch engineering outlook

There is also a strong Dutch character to the yacht’s engineering outlook. From structure to systems, HOLLD describes the 74 as being guided by the precision and discipline associated with the Dutch superyacht tradition. Safety, longevity and reliability sit at the core of the decision-making process, suggesting a yacht designed for ownership over time rather than novelty in the moment. In a market that often celebrates spectacle, that quieter confidence may prove especially persuasive.

Refinement without compromise

Inside, the HOLLD 74 aims to bring custom superyacht thinking into a sailing catamaran format. Each interior is envisioned as a bespoke environment shaped by a close relationship between design, function and personal expression. Materials, finishes and layouts are curated with restraint, preserving the yacht’s sailing integrity while still delivering a high level of refinement. Notably, even the interior furniture will be constructed from carbon fibre, an unusual but telling move that reinforces the project’s strict weight discipline.

Life aboard Hull #1

The layout of Hull #1 reflects that balance between practical cruising and elevated living. An open-plan galley, lounge and dining area makes full use of the catamaran’s generous 10.2m beam, while full-height glass doors and sociable seating arrangements create a strong connection between inside and out. Accommodation has been configured with family life in mind, including a forward VIP cabin to port, flexible guest or crew space port aft, and owners’ accommodation with a private lounge to starboard, and an additional double cabin forward.

A statement of intent

For Holld Yachts, the HOLLD 74 is more than a new model. It is a statement of intent: a yacht for owners who move with intention, and who expect their boat to do the same. That sense of quiet confidence is also reflected in the brand’s growing visibility this summer in the Mediterranean, where its support of events such as the Superyacht Cup and the Multihull Cup in Mallorca places it naturally within the wider multihull and superyacht conversation.
