A date for your diary, Sunday 11th October, our next main fundraising event

JoyRon Foundation and E-Touch Systems located within STP, in collaboration together, are organising our fifth annual Go-Kart Racing Championship and Family Fun Day at the Magaluf Go-Kart Race Track. With 18 teams of 6 drivers per team that will practice/race throughout the day. All net proceeds raised will be for the benefit of JoyRon Foundation, helping children in need in the Baleares. Many of the teams are from the yachting fraternity. All are welcome to join us for our 2026 event. This competitive day incorporates plenty of fun and family social activity from 10:00 to 18:00, all there for the taking, with entry to the venue being FREE ADMISSION. Where else can you experience Go-Kart racing, food, bar service, a selection of DJs lead by Diablo V, raffle prizes, children’s entertainment, children’s market, all for the benefit of a charitable local cause. Bring your family and friends, arrive when you want and leave when you want.

Anyone interested, be it as a go-kart racing team of six drivers or an individual competitor to be part of a team, or alternatively any corporation interested in being an event sponsor or giving organisational assistance on the day. Various levels of event activity / race sponsorship are available from €500 to €2,000 (sponsor one of the heats, sponsor the final, sponsor the DJ booth, sponsor the food catering, sponsor the children’s market). The event poster will be published during the week of 17th August, so to ensure your logo is included on the event poster, please provide it by 10th August at the latest.

We regret that due to unforeseen circumstances JoyRon has had to cancel this year’s intended gala dinner scheduled for 27th June 2026.

JoyRon is currently considering and organising a Halloween dinner and optional fancy-dress night for Saturday 31st October 2026. Watch this space for further details in the September edition.

JoyRon is in the process of launching an online art auction platform; any artists interested in being involved, please contact Ronald for more details (see below).

JoyRon advises that the small building projects totalling some €30,000 to support Granja Escola Jovent Palma are now underway. The school has been operative for 25 years and is run by a co-operative management team of five individuals (the original volunteers). Many of the children attending the facility are handicapped, autism sufferers, have Down syndrome or are suffering from other medical conditions, and most come from underprivileged families. The enhancement building facilities that JoyRon is financing will greatly improve the children’s participation in the various activities organised for them, and also improve their safety.

JoyRon is there to help the many children in need in the Baleares who are underprivileged and require support. Interested in event sponsorship? Financial corporate or individual donations?
