JoyRon Foundation and E-Touch Systems, located within STP, collaborated together to organise their fifth annual Family Fun Day and Go-Karting Charity Championship on Sunday 11th October at the Magaluf Go-Kart Race Track. With 18 teams of 6 drivers per team, practising and racing throughout the day. Many of the teams participating being from the Yachting Fraternity.
This go-kart racing day proved to be very competitive, incorporating plenty of fun and enjoyment, plus family social activity. For additional entertainment, the event included DJ Diablo V, with special guests, Bar Service and Food Service, Children’s Entertainment, and Children’s Market, all for the benefit of JoyRon Foundation, a charitable local cause, supporting “Children in Need in the Baleares”.
We thank our event sponsors, E-Touch Systems, 7P’s Management, Mega Naval, Titan Marine, Chilling, Osifar, ACE Consulting, Air Tek Systems, The Islander, and Party Edit. In addition, we thank all the Administrative Volunteers who assisted to make the day a complete success, plus, of course, all our raffle prize donors and the Magaluf Go-Kart Racing Track.
Race Practice commenced at 10.00 and the Grand Final Race was completed at 18.30. The competitiveness throughout the day was exceptional, with E-Touch Systems winning the final, 14 seconds ahead of EZ Top Yachts, with Titan Marine finishing third (see the Podium photo below). These three teams were followed home by Osifar, Mega Naval, Palomino Architects, L&M, Lady Georgina and Chilling, in that order. A GREAT DAY’S racing by all 18 teams competing on the day.

Net proceeds from this event, although not finalised at the time of compiling this report, are forecast to be in the region of 17,000 to 17,500 euros. This will ensure some 500 children in the 38 different Children’s Homes in Mallorca will receive a personalised Christmas Gift on Christmas Day. Any remaining net proceeds will be placed in the JoyRon Children’s Fund to support other underprivileged Children in the Baleares.
