Relocating to Mallorca is often described as a lifestyle decision. For Victoria Serwatuk, it was something deeper. Not a calculated move, but a choice guided by instinct.
Originally from Canada, with roots in Serbia and Ukraine, Victoria didn’t follow a typical path into real estate. Before arriving on the island, she built her career in professional sports broadcasting, a world shaped by performance, precision and constant momentum.
“It taught me how to read people and communicate clearly,” she says. “But at a certain point, I realised something was missing.”
That realisation led her to make a bold decision. She stepped away from a structured career without a clear plan, choosing instead to follow a feeling she couldn’t ignore. What followed was not just a change in location, but a shift in perspective.
Today, based in Palma and working with RE/MAX Magic, part of the global RE/MAX network, Victoria supports international clients who are often at a turning point in their lives.
“People think they are searching for a property,” she explains. “But often they are really searching for a different way of living.”
That understanding defines the way she approaches her work. For Victoria, real estate is not transactional. It is about timing, trust and guiding people through important decisions with clarity and care.
Within RE/MAX Magic, she works closely with Damian Diaz Palermo and Juan Liska, each bringing a distinct dynamic to the team.
Damian is widely recognised in the industry, including his induction into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. His consistency and focus set a clear standard within the team, one that is felt rather than enforced.
Juan brings a different kind of strength. His ability to connect with people is natural and immediate, creating a sense of trust that is essential in a process that often carries both excitement and uncertainty.
Together, they have created an environment where strong results go hand in hand with a personal approach. It is a balance that reflects the reality of Mallorca’s property market, where decisions are rarely just financial.
As the island continues to attract an international audience, Victoria sees a shift in what buyers are looking for.
“More and more, people are searching for alignment,” she says. “The right place, but also the right feeling.”
In that sense, real estate becomes something more than a transaction. It becomes part of a bigger decision about how and where to live.
And that is where the real value lies.
