YATCO is pleased to announce that to support the needs of the burgeoning global yachting industry, it is expanding by opening its first European office in Bologna, Italy.
YATCO’s European headquarters is managed by Gherardo Gardo, European Business Development Director and supported by Orlando Florio, European Sales & Marketing Manager.
“In response to the growing demand for YATCO’s unparalleled technology services, we are excited to expand our operations by creating a more formal presence in Europe with reach also extending to the Middle East,” says Steve Myers, CEO and Founder of YATCO. “Our mission is to always serve the best interests of the professional yacht broker. Opening our European office in Italy gives us better, more immediate access to one of the largest geographic regions for yacht brokerage and many of the world’s top shipyards.”
Gherardo Gardo is a multi-national business professional with extensive experience in import-export transactions, business development and marketing. He has a degree from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and is a Certified Public Account. Orlando Florio also has an extensive background in international trade, including serving in the Italy American Chamber of Commerce office in Miami, Florida. Orlando is a graduate of Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration with an international exchange at Budapest Corvinus University.
