Organised by the EXPO Shanghai Group, the very first edition of the Yachting Shanghai International Marine Expo is scheduled to take place in just under two months time.
Held in the city of Shanghai from the 8th to the 12th July, organisers of the inaugural show have chosen to opt for a slightly different angle than other boat shows, and will present the event as a ‘park-type yacht and cultural festival’, with marine-land integration. Amongst the brands signed up to exhibit already include the UAE based Gulf Craft.
To achieve the festival ambiance, a variety of exhibitions will take place over the five days of the event in the following categories: Urban Marine Lifestyle, Quality Life, and Ocean Culture & Art. The festival will predominantly focus on yachts, superyachts, private jets, super cars, equestrian, golf, high-end real estate, and overseas tourism.
Furthermore, the Expo will also include a yacht financial forum, sailing on the Huangpu River, and an auction featuring various works of art.
The 150,000 sqm exhibition area is located at the L6 wharf of Expo Avenue, Pudong New Area and French Pavilion. The SuperYacht Times team will be in Shanghai for the show, and look forward to attending this inaugural edition.
