Sagla unites tradition and craftsmanship in hams and cheeses

Sagla is a corner where you can travel without moving whist  hams and cheeses from around the world are tasted. Sagla is a family business that handles very carefully the selecting of products by going to the places of origin and visiting where they are made.

They then try to select hams and cheeses that have been prepared with care and affection so that their taste is premium.

You can find them in two of the most important markets in Palma, the Mercado del Olivar and Santa Catalina Market, where tapas are offered with their products and accompanied by the classic glass of wine to enjoy its taste. What is unique of Spain? The art of tapas, and Sagla wanted to use the Spanish culture to enhance tapas, with their hams and cheeses.

Sagla offers of 33-35 varieties of Iberian ham therefore you can have ham for every occasion. It also gives the opportunity to buy it with the proper packaging, whether for travel, cooking or catering. In addition Sagla differs with its competitors, for their craftsmanship in the art of cutting, since all their hams are cut by hand.

Regarding cheeses, Spain as it indicates Sebastià Rojas, is the great unknown. Many people are unaware that there are 26 names of cheese originated in Spain. In Sagla, try to reunite and go for those cheeses that they believe should be known.

How do we select the cheese product? We rely on three categories depending on: first, the animal’s milk producer; secondly, depending on the type of milk, pasteurized or raw, and finally the third, coagulation of milk.

To know the flavour and quality of the product we recommend you taste it!
