Dutch superyacht yard Royal Huisman has joined the International Council of Marine Industry Association (ICOMIA) Superyacht Refit Group.
Royal Huisman is principally known as a custom yacht builder, but the company also provides superyacht refits through its Huisfit programme. The work can be undertaken at the Royal Huisman yard in Vollenhove or at nearby deep-water locations.
“The ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group is looking forward to working together with the Huisfit team to improve refit standards for the future and to share experience and knowledge going forward,” reads a group statement.
Members of the ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group conform to a Code of Practice that brings certainty to refits and repairs. Members include Amico, Astilleros de Mallorca, Blohm + Voss Repair, Compositeworks, Marina Barcelona 92, Monaco Marine, Nobiskrug, Rybovich, NCP-Repair Shipyard Šibenik Ltd, Pendennis and Pinmar.
