Marina Estrella has reached an agreement with Feel Douro to launch Marina Estrella Charter Portugal, which will be based in Oporto. The Portuguese company Feel Douro, located in the new Douro Marina at the mouth of the Douro and close to the Atlantic ocean, has created one of the most unique charter experiences in Europe, with the same name of the company: Feel Douro. Portugal is a new destination for charter and Feel Douro offers the ultimate experience of a river charter, enjoying several days on the Douro River, following one of the most spectacular river routes that can be found in Europe. The reason that Marina Estrella has decided to strengthen its charter activity in Portugal is because more and more Spanish customers are interested to charter boats in Portugal and its islands, and Portuguese that do the same on the Spanish coast and islands. Marina Estrella Charter, in its two years of operation has been growing and developing a portfolio of faithful customers, including Portuguese, while it has a large fleet of boats, with more 300 units, in the best destinations worldwide. Feel Douro, as Marina Estrella, owns a fleet of boats, and has other special agreements for many other destinations in Portugal. Its main products are: “Cruise with Captain”, “Adventure” and “Yacht Charter” with different types of boats, and their most successful and sued experience is “Feel Douro” which is done mainly with Greenline yachts to an extensive navigable section of the river Douro, visiting sites classified by UNESCO as World Heritage and chosen as the best European destination in 2012 and 2014, thanks to the combination of climate, environment, culture, food and value for money. Leading the project is Patricia Carvalho, responsible of Feel Douro success, working in coordination with the central charter services of Marina Estrella. Both companies stand out on their capacity, attention to detail and customer care service, which is an important reference for starting strong this new project in Portugal. |
