During the 37th America’s Cup, the Sailing Architect had the privilege of welcoming guests aboard the 172 ft. Classic Schooner Doña Francisca at Marina Vela, Barcelona.
The team is incredibly grateful for the visits made during the event. In collaboration with Captain Andrés of Doña Francisca and his crew, they reflect on a truly unique occasion. The yacht’s elegance and the opportunity to experience life on board this full carbon, fully classic-designed sailing yacht—built in Montevideo, Uruguay—was an unforgettable experience.
The owner of Doña Francisca and the team are excited to welcome guests back aboard in the future, especially for those interested in becoming the yacht’s next owner.
A special thanks goes to the team at “Love the Mediterranean,” represented by Marco Mendoza and his colleagues, for hosting VIP guests from Banca March on Doña Francisca during the week. The Sailing Architect is fully supportive of Marco’s mission to promote the health and wellbeing of the sailing community, as well as to protect the planet and marine life.
Additionally, a heartfelt thank you to Jens Oomes and the team at The Islander Magazine, who have featured Doña Francisca in their publications since July. Thanks to their collaboration, a unique aftermovie was created.
Recap of the 37th America’s Cup:
The team wishes everyone all the best and looks forward to future encounters.
