A special edition of the Oyster Yachts Palma Regatta will take place between 4th-8th September as the company celebrates 50 years in business.
This year’s regatta will be held in the new luxurious location of Port Adriano, Mallorca – one of the most modern and best equipped marinas in the Mediterranean.
Oyster are hoping to welcome a record number of yachts ranging from 40ft to 90ft to enjoy four days of racing combined with a variety of social activities both on and off the water. A particular highlight this year will be a 50th anniversary dinner for Oyster Yacht owners, taking place on Wednesday 6th September.
Oyster and its partners support participants in the lead up to and during the regatta, from technical support to boat set up, racing tips and other advice. For those looking for a more leisurely experience, there is the option to participate as a Social Entry, ensuring everyone can enjoy the variety of shore based events, from dock parties to the gala dinner.
Speaking about the Regatta, Oyster Event Manager, Millie Bolingbroke said, “Whether you are an experienced racer or taking part for the first time, Oyster are here to support everyone to ensure they have fantastic time both on and off the water”.
All Oyster Regattas are run as ‘Clean Regattas’ to minimise environmental impact. The regatta was awarded Platinum certification in 2022 and aims to repeat this in 2023 by working with local organisations to provide sustainable alternatives to single-use plastic, whilst all documents will be shared digitally through the Oyster app.
