Sunday, June 7th of 2015.- The National Calanova Sailing School, located in Calanova Olympic Port of Palma, has already opened the registration period for summer activities. One more year, the largest sailing school in Spain continues to offer different sailing courses for beginners and for those who want to improve their technique and knowledge of one of the most popular sports in the summer. Although Calanova organizes courses throughout the year for different ages, it is noteworthy that in summer when demand has more. Therefore, and in an effort to continue offering the best service and quality to 

users , the sailing continues to renew its fleet. If last year as new vessels for sailing lessons were incorporated, this time is bought tables premium surf.

And in Calanova out not only take sailing lessons, but there is a wide range of services APRA all ages as catamaran, windsurfing, kayaking, SUP and the flagship product of the summer: the International Summer Camp. An international camp English and Spanish combined with water sports taking place throughout the summer at the port of 
Calanova. 

So enrollments new summer courses are already underway. The sailing activity is aimed at children aged 6-17 years with different categories and boats for use. While windsurfing activity ranging from 13 to 17 years and is a solid bet for young islanders. Activities Surf kayak and paddle courts are other offers that includes school, ranging from 8 to 17 years old.

All this in order to remain not only a sports center with over 30 years of experience; a place to create unforgettable experiences as well as teaching and educating encouraging sport and respect for the sea enjoying long, very secure. In Calanova more than 30 qualified by the Spanish, or their international counterparts Federations monitors.

International Summer Camps

Calanova Sailing School expands the range of services in summer with one of its flagship programs: summer camps in English and Spanish. One way to combine language learning combined with water sports. All this developed in the sports complex of the Port of Calanova which also is the Calanova, where young people can stay. Residence 

Students from around the world share a comprehensive and fun program. Note that the academic program is aimed at youth and adolescents and is based on a total immersion in the language chosen from breakfast until time to go to sleep. 

The methodology consists of providing active classes with games and examples of real situations where students they are expressing and, more
importantly, they will internalize what they are learning. 
Behind this active learning is a solid grammatical structure with clear objectives for each lesson hour. 

The sports program is divided into several groups of water activities (sailing, wind -Surf, Kayak and Paddle Surf) that are organized by age and level guaranteeing the safety and supervision of students.Both the theoretical classes and practices, teaches and supervises the team of certified teachers of the National Sailing School of Calanova. Students practice 15 hours a week (3 hours a day Monday through Friday) sailing, windsurfing, kayaking or paddle surfing. 

After a full day, all campers can relax or participate in activities organized by the monitors as beach volleyball, beach soccer, ping pong, as well as social games and crafts.

Calanova in the Esport Fira de Palma

With the aim of raising awareness of the wide variety of courses and services offered, the Calanova National Sailing School has been this weekend, present in the Fira of Sport of Palma City Council held at the sports stadium of Son Moix. An intense weekend where the team has been able Calanova inform hundreds of people who were interested in the courses and services offered by the school this summer.
