The conference is being organised by the Gibraltar Ship and Yacht Registries and it will be held on July 8-10 on-board the five-star yacht Hotel Sunborn Gibraltar.

Of the three days, the second and third will include particular relevance to yachts. Day 2 will focus on ‘Seafarers and Crew’ and include sessions on the following:

Crew Repatriation

Immigration – Crew Changes and Visas

STCW

RYA Crew Training Facilities in Gibraltar

Captain’s Role with Crew

Day 3 has the title of ‘Superyachts’ and will include nine sessions as follows:

Part of the programme on Day 1 will address Port State Control, which, from the Future of Captains and Crew Conference held last week alongside the Palma yacht shows, highlighted this area as a key one for yachts and superyachts.
