Italian shipyard Pershing has launched its third 108ft 33m ‘maxi yacht’. The yacht hit the water at Pershing’s Mondolfo production shipyard.

In the following weeks interior furnishings and non-structural decor will be completed. The interior of the new yacht has been entirely customized by the owner who was very active in working with the shipyard to create a yacht that fully reflects his taste.

At the same time, technical testing will be carried out on the new vessel, on the systems, and all the control and infotainment software will be checked, in addition to the performance trials.

The yacht is a result of a collaboration between designer Fulvio De Simoni and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department’s team of engineers, architects and designers.

The Pershing 108 has three MTU 2638 mHp (1939 kW) 16V 2000 M 94 L diesel engines and, due to its three surface propellers, it can potentially achieve a top speed of more than 42 knots. The yacht can travel distances in excess of 1,000 miles at 10 knots and with very limited fuel consumption.

The Pershing 108 has four guest cabins with three dedicated to the crew, and offers customers the possibility of choosing from various interior layouts.
