How it began

Jochen began his career after completing dual degrees in Economics and Management, followed by an early chapter in the banking sector in Barcelona. His entry into the yachting world came when he joined the renowned shipyard Belliure as Export Manager, giving him a strong foundation in yacht construction, design, and international sales. He later expanded his technical expertise at the Palma Boatyard, working closely with M. Ritchie on complex refit and engineering projects.

His brokerage career spans senior roles at some of the industry’s most respected firms, including Michael Schmidt Brokerage, Newton/Merrill Stevens, Dahm International – where he rose to the position of Sales Director – and Northrop & Johnson, where he further cemented his reputation as a leading Mediterranean sales broker.
