Top-flight competition attracted more than 700 rowers and 70 boats.

Marina Port Valencia has again underlined its commitment to water sports by playing host to the 6th Marina Port Valencia Regatta, a key event within the SUMA Fixed Seat Rowing Mediterranean League. This regatta, organised by the City of Valencia Rowing Club, was made possible thanks to Marina Port Valencia, the City of Valencia Municipal Sports Foundation and the Valencian Rowing Federation.

More than 700 rowers and almost 70 boats from all over the Valencian Region competed in various categories, from children to veterans, including mixed teams and a breast cancer survivor team. The event showcased sporting prowess and the power of sport to bring people together and nurture social activities.

A spectacular setting 

The competition was held in the Inner Dock of Marina Port Valencia, a privileged setting for rowers and spectators alike. 

Marina Port Valencia is passionately committed to the promotion of water sports as a driver of growth and social development. By hosting events of this magnitude, the marina isn’t just showing its support for rowing and sport in general, but also bolstering its role of port-city integration, as a meeting point for Valencians and sports tourism.

In this edition, the presence of the breast cancer survivor team highlighted the role of sport in recovery and well-being, offering a truly inspiring example of dedication and recuperation.
