Bluewater Announces the 2025 Superyacht Chef Competition in Partnership with the Yacht Club de Monaco.

Monaco, April 3, 2025 – This marks the 15th edition of the event and the 6th year of collaboration with the Yacht Club.

Nine chefs from superyachts ranging from 36m to 98m will compete in a high-energy culinary contest, demonstrating their skills before a distinguished jury at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

The chefs will face challenges, including TOP SECRET ingredient boxes of which they have 40 minutes to review, add additional ingredients, prep a dish to wow our acclaimed jury members and plate it up before the clock counts down.
The audience will also vote to add a little something extra! Just to keep it interesting!

The event will be live-streamed for remote viewers.

Guests who RSVP will gain access to the competition, as well as the opportunity to enjoy the open bar sponsored by Gourmet Deliveries and Bluewater, featuring local wines, beers, and Prosecco, along with an exclusive champagne and Oyster bar from U’LUVASSU during the lavish prize giving ceremony.

The competition opens at 09:00 with a warm welcome by our compere Vincent Ferniot, a culinary journalist and presenter, then three rounds, followed by a lunch break and the announcement of the three finalists.
The event will conclude at 17:00 with a prize-giving ceremony, featuring trophies, luxury gifts, and plenty of bubbles and merriment!

AGENDA
09.30-13.20: Three rounds, each with three chefs.
13.20-14.30: Jury deliberation and lunch break. Food truck will be available.
14.00-17.00: The Bluewater and GDT bar serving complimentary drinks.
14.30: Announce the three finalists! Straight into the grand finale.
17.00-18:00: Announce the winner. Unmissable prize-giving ceremony, Oyster and Champagne bar by U LUVASSU, Monaco Champagne Spritz by La Distillerie de Monaco.

Duncan Biggs (UK): Co-founder of Ocean Wave Monaco, passionate about sustainability.
Paulo Ucha Longhin(BRA): Winner of the 2024 edition, known for sustainability and creative excellence.

Our recruitment director Sharon Rose, organised the 9 participants this year with our partners at Monaco Yacht Club, but is remaining tight-lipped with any comments on front contenders! ‘The talent this year is exceptional, it’s going to be a tough one for the judges, and I can’t wait to see Paulo Ucha Longhin, our 2024 winner, sitting on the panel! It will be a fantastic day.
