Refueling in Gibraltar: lessons in fuel gauges and repairs

15/01/25 1100CET Gibraltar Marina Bay

We made it to the fuel dock in Gibraltar. Now we know the port fuel gauge is completely unreliable. But contrary to taking over the boat in Arenal, we now know exactly how much fuel we have. Now we can keep track of our consumption through the engine and generator hours as we did already anyway, but it will be less confusing knowing we can disregard the port fuel gauge. Alsi at the fuel dock I managed to fix the watermaker which had a lot of power. I’ll fix the two small leaks I found on the unit in Las Palmas.
