The world’s most demanding sailing contest embarked on a thrilling six-month journey around the globe. The race commenced in Alicante, Spain, in January 2023, with Newport, RI as the exclusive North American stopover. Following the Newport stopover, the teams representing the International Monohull Open Class Association (IMOCA) set their sights on Aarhus, Denmark, The Hague, Netherlands, and will conclude their epic voyage in Genoa, Italy, come June 2023.
