Lürssen launch 114.20m project – ‘Cosmos’
Over the coming months, Lürssen personnel will outfit her in a neighborhood facility as the company’s own docks are either occupied or undergoing structural modernisation work themselves.
Marc Newson is the exterior and interior designer of the vessel, and she will be the first Lürssen yacht to feature fuel cell technology on board – first highlighted by the Company in 2021.
Lift Foils launch 4th gen eFoil
Lift Foils, the creator of the first commercial eFoil has launched the innovative LIFT4. Electric boating Navia start-up raises €250k seed round funding
Navia will commence production of their electric boats with €250k seed funding secured. Navia plans to provide a turnkey solution for established rental companies. Their diversified B2B model will partner with fleet managers across the Mediterranean, and provide the key infrastructure to enable the spread of electric boating.
The Oyster 495, named European Yacht of the Year 2023, takes the leading role in film series.
From drawing board to bluewater cruising, this series follows the build of the newest addition to the Oyster fleet. With unprecedented behind-the-scenes access, episodes were filmed at the Oyster Yachts facility in Hythe, Southampton, and at sea.

Karpaz Gate Marina marks full resort launch
Ahead of the debut season of its expanded full-resort facilities, Karpaz Gate Marina -the first international-standard marina resort in North Cyprus- has carried out significant investment to add new leisure facilities to complement its boutique hotel, hammam, spa, Beach Club and restaurants.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE FULL CUSTOM TANKOA T580 CONTINUES. LAUNCH CONFIRMED FOR 2024
The Tankoa Yachts boutique shipyard in Genoa is bustling with activity following the recent arrival of the T580 “World Wide Explorer”. The yacht sailed to the shipyard with an already assembled hull and superstructure; the engines and generators were also present and mounted on board. The 58-metre yacht with sporty lines, designed by Francesco Paszkowski (and Margherita Casprini, who collaborated on the interior design), is a full-custom project, designed for long voyages and with a range of over 5,000 nautical miles.

Superyacht Technology Network welcomes new investor
Leading technology event company, Superyacht Technology Network, announced an investment by superyacht industry expert, Will Faimatea, who has acquired a 42% shareholding of its company for an undisclosed sum. He will take no formal executive position but act as an advisor/consultant, bringing nearly 30 years of experience from the world of superyacht technology innovation.
The investment will support the company’s goal to expand its operations with the highly successful Superyacht Technology Show at its core. The 2024 Show will quadruple in size in response to industry demand and include a 500-delegate capacity conference of TECHtalks from both the superyacht and technology industries.
The financial investment will fund the expansion of the company’s operational team to service anticipated sales to new exhibitors from engineering, engine and green technology businesses. These will be accommodated in dedicated halls in addition to the well-established AV/IT/VSAT halls.
Further expansion for Moravia Yachting
The Palma de Mallorca team at Moravia Yachting has further expanded this month, as the Monaco-based company has announced the recruitment of Tim Carbury, an experienced superyacht broker. Tim will join existing Palma-based sales broker Sam Tucker to help secure central agencies and assist in the sale of yachts across the Balearics and beyond.
