Great novelties in top performance sailing yachts

Yacht Consulting Barcelona, official distributor in Spain of ICE YACHTS, will attend the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Salone Nautico di Genova to meet with its clientele and present the latest novelties of the Italian yard.

ICE YACHTS, leading Italian shipyard in the production of semi-custom cruiser-racer sailboats, whose aesthetics respond to the purest Made in Italy style, has recently launched its flagship, the ICE 70 that will be shown in world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival and later at the Salone Nautico di Genova.

Technology, performance, and versatility are the key words that describe the recently launched ICE 70, the work of design studio Felci Yacht Design. The extensive use of carbon and the canoe-shape hull translate into a displacement of just 25 tons, whilst the clever design of the deck and manoeuvring zone allows for short-handed sailing. Designed to provide a superior experience both under sail and at anchor, the ICE 70 features a lifting keel that goes from 2.8 to 4.5 metres and a carbon bowsprit that can fit gennaker and code zero as well as be employed as a bow roller for the anchor.

ICE YACHTS will also show in world premiere in Cannes and then in Genoa the ICE 52RS EVO. Also developed by Umberto Felci’s design studio, in collaboration with the Italian yard’s technical team led by Enrico Malingri, this new version of the ICE 52 is a fast cruiser conceived for highly competitive yacht owners who demand top performance from their boats on the regatta fields.

The Italian yard will also present ICE 54 in world premiere at the Salone Nautico di Genova. This state-of-the-art yacht has been designed for passionate, competent yacht owners who seek strong emotions at the helm. Built with highly innovative materials and advanced construction techniques, the ICE 54 is in a league of its own in all that regards performance, comfort on board and ability to take on the toughest conditions at sea.
