It is our pleasure to introduce you to our new identity – Damen Yachting. A new yachting division within the family-owned Damen Shipyards Group, that brings together the entire yachting portfolio designed to meet the broadest spectrum of yachting needs with fast delivery.

Under the leadership of Rose Damen, Damen Yachting retains all of the yacht ranges associated with Amels and Damen. We will continue to deliver superyachts from the Limited Editions range under our industry renowned Amels brand whilst SeaXplorers and Yacht Support will now be delivered under our new Damen Yachting brand. Our Damen Yachting portfolio also includes Full Custom yachts and Refit services.

The move follows a solid decade of growth with a strong order book across our entire portfolio. Our Amels brand has continued to prove an exceptional accomplishment with the Limited Editions designs and has made a successful move back into the Full Custom market. We have delivered more than 15 Yacht Support vessels since the concept was launched in 2010 and this year we will deliver the first SeaXplorer. Controlled growth and fast delivery have been key to the success. In 2019, we delivered a total of 6 projects and sold 7 new build projects. Damen Yachting currently has more than 20 new build and refit projects on the go with 6 yachts for delivery this year.

Damen Yachting’s head office will operate out of our Vlissingen City yard, home to the Amels’ production facilities. The company benefits from a 500 strong workforce including inhouse design and engineering teams, project management teams and our Customer Care team. Other Damen Yachting locations include Vlissingen East, Damen Yachting Gdynia, and project sites in Damen Shipyards Antalya, Damen Shipyards Galati and access to more than 35 Damen shipyards worldwide.

Amels Limited Editions  – with 40 yachts delivered since 2005, the Amels Limited Editions range of superyachts has been the industry’s biggest success story. It offers the perfect balance between full custom and semi-custom and reduces delivery time from several years to as little as a few months. The range includes the Amels 60, Amels 200, Amels 206, Amels 242 and Amels 272.

Amels Full Custom – fully-custom built yachts with client choice of exterior and interior designer. Damen Yachting is currently building an 78-metre Amels Full Custom, the largest Amels built to date in terms of volume, scheduled for completion in 2021.

SeaXplorer – a range of premiere expedition yachts offering serious global exploring capability combined with luxury refinement. The ultimate crossover of high-volume luxury accommodation with a true expedition platform designed to take owners and guests anywhere in the world in complete safety, comfort and style. The range includes the SeaXplorer 55, SeaXplorer 65, SeaXplorer 75 and SeaXplorer 105.

Yacht Support – purpose-built to support superyacht operations. The range combines Damen Yacht-ing’s proven shipbuilding knowhow with their experience in luxury yachting. Since 2009, 15 Yacht Supports have been delivered with more in production. The range includes the YS 4508, YS 5009, YS 6511 and YS 7512.

Refit – comprehensive yacht refit services to owners of both the fleet of Amels and Damen Yachting yachts as well as other yachts by other builders from 40 to 200 metres in length. From planned maintenance to complete transformations, we have an impressive track record of over 40 refits. Damen Yachting has an experienced Customer Care team available to service and support the entire fleet.
