Porto Montenegro has announced that Monte Carlo Yachts, Beneteau and Sunreef Yachts all opened offices at its marina in Tivat this summer, strengthening its position as one of the Mediterranean’s leading luxury yacht homeports and marina villages.

Other high-profile tenants that moved into the 450-berth marina were superyacht service provider Acquera Yachting, crewed charter firm East Med Yachting, and Cubico, the official partner of German lifestyle brands Villeroy & Boch, WMF, Robbe & Berking and Sander.

“We are extremely happy that these world-known companies have decided to drop an anchor in our marina village,” says Danilo Kalezic, senior PR and marketing manager at Porto Montenegro. “They joined a number of other respectable brands that are already represented in Porto Montenegro, such as BMW, Bang & Olufsen, Max Mara, Rolex and many more. That’s a huge honour for us.”

Porto Montenegro has 450 berths for yachts from 12m-250m, with a capacity for expansion to 850 berths. There are 300 luxury apartments, as well as 60 units of ground-floor retail made up of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and amenities, and a five-star Regent Hotel with over 130 luxury suites and apartments.

In 2017, Porto Montenegro received a Superyacht Marina of Distinction award and 5 Golden Anchors from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) for the high-quality facilities and services provided. It was also the world’s first marina to receive the Platinum award from TYHA and the Marina Industries Association, joint operators of the Gold Anchor award scheme.
