CSG Mallorca Launch A Wellness Campaign

Over the years Cancer Support Group (CSG) Mallorca has come to the aid of many who have needed help in different ways. The services offered include counselling, translating, help with paperwork, nutritional advice, practical help (shopping, dog walking etc.), as well as providing wigs, bandanas, knitted knockers and many other items cancer patients may need.

“It is our goal to keep offering these services for many years to come” says Krista, CSG President. The good news is that on the 19th of October, to complement these services they are launching a Wellness Campaign.

“The 19th of October is Breast Cancer Awareness day, but this doesn’t mean that we are limiting our Wellness Campaign to members with breast cancer, the different treatments available in the campaign are open to any cancer patient and in some cases even their caregivers and family members”, Krista continues.

So, what does this Wellness campaign include?

“We are thrilled to be working with different specialists and therapists who are offering our patients, yoga, cancer friendly workouts, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, massage, cosmetic tattooing, mindfulness, among others” says Krista, “some of these services will be free, some will require a nominal donation and some will be offered to our members at a reduced rate”.

CSG needs all sorts of volunteers, not just people to help with the patients, but graphic designers, social media experts, event planners, etc. If you have time or skills, or both, please come along.

On a final note, CSG is teaming up with a lovely lady who is planning to do retreats here in Mallorca for cancer patients, she is in the setup process and would like to speak with as many people as she can about their cancer journey, so she can discover what people need the most. If you would be willing to share your experiences, please contact CSG and they will pass your information on.
