ACREW has always aimed to set a new standard for professionalism in super yachting but now adds a whole new dimension with their latest venture: the first ever International Crew Awards. This is the only impartial Awards programme open to all Captains and Crew in the Superyacht sector.

The Crew Awards promise to take an important place in the calendar for yacht crew around the world. The first awards ceremony will be held at the close of the 2018 Med Season – on 13th October 2018 in Port Vauban, Antibes. To host the first edition of this exciting event ACREW has partnered with VAUBAN 21; the superyacht marina in Antibes. Port Vauban is the natural host for this prestigious event, with the stunning backdrop of the Bastion St Jaume providing the perfect setting in this wellconnected superyacht hub. Think ‘The Oscars’ meets ‘The MTV Awards’. The evening will be a stylish black tie event with a contemporary twist. Over 300 Captains and Crew will celebrate the very best crew professionals in yachting around the globe. The hard work, experience, skills and expertise required to excel onboard superyachts deserve official recognition. The Crew Awards have been developed to reward crew that have proven themselves to be the very best at their job. The Awards will be both a personal achievement and an industry-wide recognition of professional excellence.

As a body that is committed to professionalism and excellence in yachting, the PYA officially endorses the Awards programme. The rigorous nomination and voting process will enable to identify the very best crew onboard these fabulous vessels that sail the world.
