As the Boat Show is upon us and summer is just around the corner, the crew at The Boat House are gearing up for another busy season. With its 24hrs parking and central dockside location in front of the Auditorium, it has become very popular with the yachting fraternity being only a short stroll to the show, city centre and surrounding marinas.

This combination of casual dockside dining and relaxed chill out spaces have created a really special ambiance, justifiably earning rave reviews from those of us looking for something different and more laidback. Whether it’s starting the day off with a great breakfast, having a light bite or lunch on the sun-filled terraces, enjoying a sundowner with friends over a bucket of beer & cocktails, or simply treating yourself to a mouth-watering dinner, it really does offer it all.

Like all of you, the ‘Captain’ and crew have been busy getting the new deck shipshape for 2016, bringing on extra crew, creating fresh new dishes and menus, and launching their ‘Crew Card’, which is offering a host of rewards for their loyal followers.

To launch the Card in style, they’re staging an amazing party on Sunday 1^st of May, with the opening offer of free beer for the first hour to set the mood, along with a hog roast & BBQ – surely the place to be!

Following on from their Pre-Show Supper on Wednesday 27^th, they’re pulling together an interesting and fun events programme for this season, which will cover all things nautical, including monthly gatherings which will be organised in conjunction with The Islander.

From June, these evenings will feature Chef Demonstrations for all those budding cooks amongst us, which will become a regular monthly feature.
