Finnish boatbuilder Nautor’s Swan has announced the launch of Shamanna and Highland Fling 15. These are hull two and three of its 30m sailing yacht Swan 115.
Shamanna (Swan 115.002 Flush Deck) features an uncluttered deck space and sleek lines. The hull shape, plumb bow and wide stern are work of Germán Frers. With performance in mind, the yacht also features twin rudders for increased responsiveness and better control when heeling.
The Swan 115 FD has the owner’s cabin forward, with crew quarters aft and is built to MCA LY3 class.
Highland Fling 15 is a race version of the Swan 115. The yacht features long bowsprit for improved downwind performance. In addition to the standard straight propeller shaft arrangement, a retractable propeller arrangement is available.
Push button sail handling is standard on both versions. The hull and deck are built in carbon fibre using foam and Nomex core.
These two Swan 115 will be delivered in a few months and they will attend the Rolex Swan Cup in Porto Cervo to take place from 11-18 September.
In addition, Swan 115 FD Shamanna will be presented at the forthcoming Monaco Yacht Show.
The Finnish shipyard has also confirmed that two more Swan are in the assembly process at BTC in Pietarsaari: the fourth Swan 115, race version, and the brand new Swan 95 S version.
