Perini Navi’s latest 70m superyacht Sybaris out of the shed

Perini Navi has today announced that their latest 70 metre superyacht is now out of the shed in their facilities in La Spezia, Italy. Named Sybaris, the all aluminium vessel has been designed by the in-house team at Perini Navi, with naval architecture consultation and sail plan optimisation from Philippe Briand. With a GT of 870, she is the second largest sailing vessel ever built by the Italian brand.

Specifically chosen by her owners, her interior design was undertaken by the U.S. studio PH Design, who have utilised high quality materials such as titanium into both the structural and aesthetic design.

Her main deck features an expansive guest area which connects seamlessly to the cockpit by way of a four metre wide sliding door. Inside her main saloon, guests can enjoy uninterrupted sea views as well as an abundance of natural light. Outside, her 18 metre long flybridge provides an equally welcoming area for relaxation and entertainment.

In addition to her generous living and entertainment areas both inside and out, Sybaris also comes with two 7 metre carbon fibre tenders, as well as a 4.5 metre rescue tender.

A first aboard a Perini Navi sailing yacht, two variable speed generators supply electrical power via a DC Bus to her main electrical grid with the potential to store excess power in Class-Approved lithium polymer batteries. She is equipped with carbon fibre spars and Carbo-Link rigging provided by Rondal, and hosts a sail plan of more than 3,000 square metres.
