Viking Yachts has unleashed its largest yacht yet, the Viking 92 sportfish superyacht.
Viking’s 28.45-metre yacht is already a success, with seven hulls sold. The new flagship Viking 92 will be available in either Enclosed Bridge or Open Bridge versions. The first hull is an Enclosed Bridge version, and hull No 2 will have a skybridge up top and is bound for California.
The Viking 92 has two mezzanine decks in her massive cockpit; one down at the cockpit level, and the other at the main aft deck level allowing for a great view of the fishing below and allowing space for al fresco dining and entertaining. There is also an outside kitchen and grill. The Enclosed Bridge creates a second saloon area. But being a Viking, the 92 is outfitted with all the needed accoutrement to make it a true fishing machine. The owner of the first Viking 92 has owned a few Viking Yachts previously, including a Viking 62 and an 82, before the owner – a family oriented woman highly involved with boating – stepped up to the larger yacht.
Stepping inside the Viking 92 superyacht, it’s instantly recognisable that this is not your average Viking. Interior styling is by William Bales and Company who have given the yacht a luxe but inviting interior, highlighted in walnut joinery. The production builder is seriously striving to deliver superyacht standard interior accommodations, which is clear in her expansive main saloon and country kitchen. Off of the enormous galley is a walk-in pantry and a day-head, then there are five staterooms below, including the full-beam master, which could have a place on any superyacht.
A Viking 92 could be delivered in just six to seven months, and the next available build slot is 2016.
