The Viking 92 remains one of the most impressive sportfishing superyachts ever built by Viking Yachts. At 28.45 metres in length and with commanding performance at sea, this flagship model was a success from the moment it launched. Several hulls were sold shortly after release, and it continues to hold strong demand on the brokerage market today.

The Viking 92 was offered in three configurations: Enclosed Bridge, Open Bridge, and Sky Bridge. The expansive cockpit features two mezzanine levels—one at cockpit level and another at the aft main deck—offering the perfect setup for watching the action below or enjoying al fresco dining. There’s also a full outdoor galley with grill, and the enclosed bridge provides a second salon with panoramic views.

Inside, the interior was styled by William Bales & Company, featuring rich walnut joinery and a warm, contemporary finish that blurs the line between sportfish and luxury yacht. The spacious layout includes a large country kitchen with walk-in pantry and day-head, plus five guest cabins below deck, including a full-beam master suite that rivals those on full custom superyachts.

Though purpose-built for serious sportfishing, the Viking 92 offers true superyacht-level comfort and detailing throughout. Many owners of the 92 were long-time Viking clients moving up from previous models such as the 62 or 82.

Due to evolving emissions regulations (specifically IMO Tier III compliance), production of the Viking 92 has now ceased. In its place, Viking has launched the Viking 90—a new model designed to meet today’s standards while staying true to the spirit and power of its predecessor.
