STP shipyard in Palma has just hosted another year of one of the most competitive races in Europe and gave a special prize to the boat with the best overall start during the competition. A f firm favourite of yacht owners, captains and crew, the Superyacht Cup Palma offers a great friendly atmosphere for teams from all over the world.

STP Shipyard was on duty to provide service to all vessels that required it, and in any case, most of the yachts are already regular clients of the shipyard.

Last weekend, the 21st edition of the Superyacht Cup Palma was held; this prestigious regatta is the longest established Superyacht Regatta in Europe and the competition in which yacht owners, captains and crew join together to compete for the cherished trophy. With all these factors, the excitement was intense with no lack of the typical rivalry between teams and ultimately Bolero was proclaimed as the overall winner of the competition.

In this race, as every year, STP Shipyard Palma has had a significant presence as sponsor. The spectacular boats that participated were for almost a week moored at the dock of STP, which also granted part of its space to house the regatta village which provides the relaxed focal point for after race discussions and a few drinks.

In addition to the hosting of the regatta, STP Shipyard Palma presented a special prize as an extra contribution to its sponsorship, this time assigned to the boat with the best overall start. Saudade was the winner of this trophy, given by Diego Caro, project manager of STP. The crew of this boat came twice to the podium to collect trophies as it also took the prize to the third place of Class A.

And because all the participating vessels were regular customers of STP, the boat crew of the shipyard remained on hand to serve the yachts that needed help. All of them, equipped with very high technology skills, are experts who worked to help obtain a better performance of the yachts.

Participants, organizers and sponsors are already looking forward to receiving the next edition of the Superyacht Cup, the 22nd, and STP Shipyard Palma, as usual, will once again look forward to the arrival of the participants to their facilities to see the old friends again.
