New 52m sailing superyacht concept Blue Sapphire

The latest sailing superyacht design to come from designers Ferrari & Franchi is the 52 metre sloopBlue Sapphire, a design that has been realised for the Perini Navi Award organised by Comitato Leonardo.

On board she accommodates up to ten guests, as well as a crew of eight. The owner’s suite is destined to be particularly impressive, with a total dedicated space of 42.5 square metres featuring two skylights, an ample lounge area, studio and two luxurious bathrooms.

Prospective owners are offered an element of flexibility in her design, with one of the four double guest cabins able to be transformed into a gym if desired. She presents a carbon fibre sloop rig with EC6 rigging, with a mast of 64.5 metres.

The forward main deck is free of riggings and hides various winches beyond the garage with the main tender of six metres, which can be transformed into a second cockpit. She hosts an array of toys and tenders for her guests to fully enjoy, including two Seadoo underwater scooters, two sets of waterskis, two Seabobs and a range of diving and fishing equipment.

On board entertainment is just as extensive as the entertainment opportunities presented by her selection of water toys and tenders. The stern presents a jacuzzi with a waterfall surrounded by a double-stair connecting the main deck to the beach club, while underway the water is pumped out and the stern platform is closed.
