Williams Performance Tenders in the UK has appointed James Robinson to the role of marketing director. He joins Williams from Fairline, where he held the position of sales and marketing director since 2002.

Prior to his role at Fairline, Robinson was president of Fairline’s US based subsidiary company responsible for the development of the brand and dealer network throughout the Americas, and product manager for Lewmar Marine Ltd.

The appointment follows an strong year for Williams. The company is celebrating its 10 year anniversary and claims it is holding its strongest ever order book.

Williams plans for 2015 includes the extension of its premises in Oxford and the recruitment of an additional five members of staff in order to meet the growing demand for its Dieseljet, Turbojet and newly-launched Sportjet ranges.

Founded by brothers Mathew and John Hornsby in 2004, Williams now employs 50 staff at its Oxfordshire base and is supported by a global team of factory trained engineers. The company produces over 700 boats per year.
