ISS announces Design Award winners

The International Superyacht Society (ISS) has announced the winners of the 2014 Design & Leadership Awards. The awards were presented at the 24th Anniversary of ISS’s Awards Gala in Ft Lauderdale, Florida

.

Baltic Yachts’ Inukshuk, whose construction was managed by Newport-based Marine Construction Management (MCM), has taken home the Best Sail 24m-40m prize. Inukshuk was designed by German Frers with interiors by Adam Lay Studio.

The Royal Huisman Wisp, whose construction was also managed by MCM, was finalist in the ISS Sail 40m+ class. The category was won by Alloy Yachts’ Mondango3.

Motoryacht Dream, built by Jones Boatyard/A&R, won the Best Refit prize.

The category Best Power 24m-40m, 40m-65m, and 65m+ was won by  Curvelle’s Quaranta, Feadship’s Como, and Heesen Yachts-built Galactica Star, respectively.

Feadship’s Como also took home the prize for Best Interior.
