Sunseeker International has appointed Hugues Jacquin as chief financial officer of the UK boatbuilder with immediate effect.
Jacquin joins Sunseeker from Bombardier where he has had a long and successful career over the last 18 years within the aerospace and transportation divisions. His mandates have spanned between North America, Europe and Asia.
Robert Braithwaite, Sunseeker founder and honourary president, comments: “Sunseeker continues to deliver world-class, innovative and dynamic yachts and it is essential that we match this with senior executives of the highest calibre which we have found in Hugues Jacquin. We welcome his substantial experience gained on the international manufacturing stage which will assist us when investing in the next generation of exciting models which are currently in development.”
Commenting on his appointment, Jacquin says: “I am looking forward to working with the entire team to support the new model development programme and defining a clear path for growth.”
In addition, Sunseeker has announced that Sunny Thakrar, previously group finance director, will now focus on his principal role as group executive director, overseeing design and development, HR, operations, IT and supply chain functions, and with responsibility for driving change and performance improvement initiatives throughout the business.
