Prop Scan; since 2012, Metalnox is the official agent in Baleares for this computerized system used for measuring and sizing marine propellers. The first certified system to correct, reshape and optimize your propellers of up to 1.5 mts. ; reducing fuel consumption, increasing speed, eliminating propeller  induced vibration and cavitation reduction. The accuracy and consistency of Prop Scan was tested under the United States Navy “Foreign Comparative Test Program”. Prop Scan is now used by the US Navy, Australian Navy and the Canadian Navy.

The Sand Blasting Centre (also using /Bead/Glass etc.) at Metalnox-Son Bugadelles has several independant cubicles plus mobile units for jobs in situ.. 

Materials on which blasting, either with Sand, Bead or Glass, can be applied include steels, alloys, glass, wood, aluminium, stone, etc.

Galvanizing items of all types and sizes of carbon Steel, in situ or in the Metalnox main premises in Son Bugadelles.

Chroming can be applied to aluminium, steels, bronzes, plastics etc.and Andonizing for aluminium in a wide range of colours.
